The fiber · Silk
Real silk, used alone or with linen. It takes dye deeply and reflects light along the pile, so the color shifts as you walk around the rug.
The making · Handloomed
Made on a hand-operated loom, with the pile cut or left in loops. The result is a dense, even pile with a fine, regular texture.
Care
Vacuum gently without a beater bar and blot spills right away. Professional rug cleaning only (silk should be cleaned by a specialist).
Delivery and returns
Lead time for this rug is 6 to 8 weeks.
Each rug is made to order in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, and shipped to you when it is finished.
